Our student run organization's goal is to create a supportive and resourceful community to all students interested in the Dental field. By creating opportunities for hands-on involvement, the society aims to promote students' knowledge and interest in the field of Dentistry.
About Our Seal.
Designed by Matthew Dietel in 2016, the Pre-Dental Society Seal draws symbolism from elements of dentistry. The Greek letter Omicron (O) represents the Greek word "odont" meaning "tooth". The Greek letter Delta (Δ) represents "Dentistry". The 32 leaves represent the 32 permanent teeth in adults and the 20 berries represent the 20 primary teeth in children. The rod of Asclepious has roots in medicine and healthcare. A heartfelt thank you to Matthew who graciously designed our seal for free.
